Jose Jose Arrieta was born in Cartagena, Colombia and holds a BFA in Dance from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Jose’s passion for dance began at a young age–As a child he participated in school presentations. Through these performances he connected with TV recruiters, bringing him opportunities to perform and collaborate with incredible directors, actors, and productions staff.

Arrieta has trained with many exceptionally experienced artists, dancers, and choreographers such as Nemecio Berrio, Michael Lomeka, Brett Garfinkel, Jared Duster, Ana María García & Majella Loughran.

On stage, Jose’s movement possesses an authenticity and intention that is entrancing to watch. He has been praised by audiences and colleagues alike for his adaptability, and seeks to bring each piece to life by throwing himself whole-heartedly to every performance.
